Chris
Chris is a very sweet younger small staffie who came to us two days before Christmas, Chris was dumped on the bottom of our drive. He was very frightened and scared but despite his very cruel treatment he is still a very sweet and friendly boy. He doesn't appear to phased by other dogs either having being walked with several of his neighbouring canine companions.

Floyd
Floyd is a male Jack Russell around 6 years old. His hobbies include playing football (which he is rather good at.) His dislikes include being overly fussed and cuddled and people getting too familiar too soon. He's a solid little guy with an attitude to match so we advise against children. Floyd would be well suited to living on a small holding or similar set up

Jake
Jake is a 5-6 year old terrier who we think may have once worked for a living. He has a keen interest in toys and will retrieve anything thrown for him but can be reluctant to drop it for you. Jake cannot be homed with children as he has not lived with them before and likes his own space. Jake is not a lap dog type and is quite an independent dog so we would prefer to home him with experienced terrier owners. Jake also needs to be homed as the only pet as although he walks well with some smaller dogs he can take a dislike to some larger ones. An intelligent chap who will make a great companion for the right person

Jet
Jet is an eighteen month old small male black cross breed who was signed over to the rescue through no fault of his own. Jet is well used to a busy family life but would be more suited in a home without children. He can be quite grumpy towards other dogs when out walking yet had previously lived with other dogs. He is very friendly and really deserves a loving home where he can be given time to settle in. A boy who will make an ideal addition to the home.

Li/Pippin
Li- Pippin is a very cute young male yorkie cross who was recently returned to the rescue as he was being a little over protective of his owner. We were advised that he was not too good with other dogs but since being back with us he has been great, calm and relaxed and happy to walk on lead with other dogs. Pippin is ideally looking for a home without children although he was very good with his owners grandaughter. He also needs a home without cats. Pippin needs a calm leader who can teach him to relax.

Lisette
Lisette is a small full of life staffy who came to the rescue as a stray. This lady is very friendly and just loves people. She looks like she may have possibly had pups at some point. We have yet to test her behaviour towards other dogs but have seen no issues so far. A happy go lucky lady who will make someone a fantastic companion.

Lucas+
This great guy is Lucas, a 3 year old male Jack Russell cross. Lucas is a complete fuss pot and an all round fantastic dog. He was very nervous when he first came in however it is hard to belive that if you could see him now. Lucas was ok with other dogs but sadly got bitten by a dog and this has really set him back, he is currently quite vocal and snappy towards other dogs but we are working on this and hoping to make him feel more confident again around other dogs. So we are not ruling out a home with another calm dog who could hopefully show him a good example. Lucas is so willing to learn and will do anything for a treat which makes training him a pleasure. He needs a home where his owners are consistent and he feels secure and confident. He really is such a great boy and kennel life is really not suiting him so we hope we can find him a new home soon.

Olivia
Olivia is a friendly young little cross breed who came to the rescue as a stray. This lady has bags of energy and loves to go go go. She has a great temperament and will suit those who enjoy the outdoors. Her behaviour towards other dogs has so far been good having been walked with several of our other smaller residents, we are yet to test her off lead but will be looking to do so during her stay with us.

Rafa+
Rafa is a male wiry coated Jack Russell who is approximately 6 years of age. Rafa is a hardy terrier who needs a firm and confident owner who has experience of terrier breeds. Given the chance and Rafa will rule the roost! He can therefore not be homed with children. His main issue is that he is quite a fearful dog so any handler who is unsure of him he perceives as a threat, he does sometimes have issues with being told what to do, particularly getting off furniture. He is an intelligent dog so will need lots of stimulation and play to keep him happy. Rafa has been mixed successfully with several other dogs so does have the potential to live with dogs. He ignores cats but can be snappy towards them if he has a chew or his blanket. Rafa is a very affectionate and friendly dog most of the time - he just needs a committed and devoted owner / companion. He is now one of our longest residents and in much need of a new home.

Snowy
Snowy is a seven month old female westie cross Parson terrier who came to the rescue as her owners were finding it hard to train her as she is deaf. Snowy is such a sweet girl who has lived with children aged 4 and upwards. She gets on well with other dogs so may be ok to live with another dog. Snowy needs training using hand signals, a home with another dog may be ideal so she has someone to follow.

Sydney is a very cute 10 month old Jack Russell cross staffie who came to the rescue after being a stray for some time. Sydney is a very friendly little chap who is walks very well on lead. Sydney is ok around other dogs but would prefer to be homed as the only pet

Tim
Tim is a male Border Terrier type who is around 5 years old. He has a very lively and playful side to him - full of energy and bounce. He does appear to like his own little space and can resent you entering that space before he's completely comfortable with you - rather like us. So he would need a good chunk of time to settle in and a firm but understanding hand from the outset. We are recommending a home without children. Otherwise, a bubbly and very likeable chap.

Tonto (Jack)
Tonto is a male Jack Russell who is around 5 years old. He is one to be played with, kept occupied and regularly walked but not necessarily to cuddle as he has a bit of an attitude problem for which reason we advise against a home where there are children. His hobby is to gather toys around him and perhaps go searching for others (with training he could become expert at this : ) Such is his attitude, he will ignore some dogs and resent others even if they are much bigger. He will happily walk with other dogs and gets on well with some of his neighbours
